@Tanman did you post this on r/coins? Think I saw this earlier this morning lol

I did. Just started browsing that site more and wanted to test the waters there. Seems like there aren't many error/variety specialists over there, so it didn't get much attention.

Also, thanks everyone for the congrats!

Goodness gracious I do believe that's the best cherrypick I've ever seen in the four years I've been collecting errors and varieties!

Massive congratulations Tanman! Absolutely stunning and brilliant!

Sweeeeet pick. Congrats.

ANACS puts it on the holder if you state what it is when you send it in. They do not charge extra for it.

ANACS has always charged me for any variety attribution and I had to specifically ask for the variety on the label. Straight grade has been $10-$12 and $4 (I think) for the attribution when I sent my last group in 2020.

Maybe they charged me extra for being on Santa's naughty list? LOL

Yes, sadly not a very knowledgable community for errors and varieties. I have posted some of my own finds there in the past, but pretty much gave up because people either didn't care or didn't know enough about what the coins even were to find them interesting. I sometimes try to weigh in when I see extremely wrong information being given out or if someone posts a coin asking whether or not it's an error/variety, but other than that I mostly stay away.

I wonder why people use ANACS for FS varieties. PCGS may cost more but you can get true view and start a registry set. Just my opinion.
