Pretty much done for a normal collector. Error collectors probably not interested in them either. Now a cull coin: Happens.

You have a late SMS San Francisco struck at the end of the 1966 and put in cello. The marks come from the cello machine. remember in that time the mint was late with the production so the quality was very low. Examples: Hairs are even miss, on reverse the eagle miss the tong and the feathers under the head.
If you collect those I suggest you to look for better quality (if you can find the 1965 struck in Phil; those are more rare and the only ones in CAM) because in 65 66 and more are a beauty. Good Luck.

yep, I agree with Bobbie and others that the machine that sealed the package did that damage. It looks like the coin was closer to the edge when it was sealed. pretty cool. Leave it in the Mint package to prove that the mint caused this damage.

@GSP: I put you here an fast photo of the SMS from Phil. I did not want to go to arrange the lights or such. I wanted just you to know the difference. PS: I want you to see the difference on the texture of the coin. If you want I can do much better photos if you has questions.

Well if they post them here, I add them to my files. (13,094 right now) If I can find something interesting from PCGS images, I add them as well. Always easier to read images, rather than a thousand words to describe something.

I got to ask, Silviosi how do you tell the difference between Phil and San. mint?

All the 1965-1967 coins, didn't have mintmarks on them. So no way to tell from what mint they were from those years.
