The friendly eagle is a variety on the 1971 D Eisenhower dollar.

1917 Type 1 Standing Lib Quarter. Or you can also get a 1917 Type 2 SLQ as well. You'll then have the "Twin" sisters - one naughty, the other nice!

Put together a $5 and $10 modern commemorative gold set as well. I tried to count them all in my bluebook, but I lost count

A couple other ideas: A 1946-P Walking Liberty half DDR, and a 1942/41 Mercury dime (although that gets a little pricey).

I'm also doing a slabbed type set and am trying to incorporate as many of the half and dollar commemoratives as possible. I chose the Unc coins because I prefer the look of them and the mintages are lower.

I agree with you, I look for the uncirculated commemoratives.
