You can try that. I think Zaylene works but be very careful with it. Read up on it before buying/using it very toxic and hard on your skin and lungs.

What about something similar to this?

It's used to separate glued parts of electronics like cell phones. Don't know if it would work on this but it might be worth a shot. The heat may even give the coin a nice tone

Boiling water worked for getting this 1982D Kennedy half dollar free from the medallion it was bonded to by some kind of adhesive. The boiling water even softened the adhesive enough to peal it off, little piece by little piece and with virtually no further damage to the coin

Nice job. What is the yellowish on the obverse after the cleaning?

Thanks for bringing that up. it's either the lighting or an unfortunate effect caused by having to manipulate the image several times
to fit this format. I look at it with the naked eye and the only yellow I see is what looks like the begining of the toning process starting on the edge and about half way down the lettering. I regret that I don't have the proper equipment for what I trying to contribute and I apologize for that. It's also the reason that I limit myself from partaking in discussion/forums.

If you have a bottle cap from a 2-liter bottle, a phone camera, and some books, it does not necessarily have to take expensive equipment. A ring light can make it even easier ($7.00 on ebay - link in linked thread):
