You can try that. I think Zaylene works but be very careful with it. Read up on it before buying/using it very toxic and hard on your skin and lungs. John1  |

What about something similar to this? https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iOpene...ctions/11677It's used to separate glued parts of electronics like cell phones. Don't know if it would work on this but it might be worth a shot. The heat may even give the coin a nice tone |

Boiling  water worked for getting this 1982D Kennedy half dollar free from the medallion it was bonded to by some kind of adhesive. The boiling water even softened the adhesive enough to peal it off, little piece by little piece and with virtually no further damage to the coin   |
