Yes these would all be keepers for me, especially the War Nickel. Well done.

Note the 1943-P nickel? That one has silver melt value. These have the mintmarks above the building. (also a lot of these have RPMs on them) These are called type two nickels. (war time issues WWII)

Thanks for the info. I'm certainly going to hold onto them. Looks solid to my untrained eye.

thanks for the closeup, the veritical part of the P looks thicker than usual, and there's a hint of serif doubling near the left limits of the P, but I'm not seeing any clear RPM markers, wear can hide those markers so this might still be an RPM

It's interesting that they are all in better condition than the average 1970 nickel and most are in much better condition than you can find a 1970 nickel.

Nice finds, Especially the War time silver nickel. Inside the P could be part of the RPM along with circulation flattening to boot

to CCF

Congrats on the finds. I need to start using cash again for purchases to get change. Somehow got into the habit of using the CC 99% of the time.

Keep 'em coming...

Nice finds. I'll mention that your 1949-S is a semi-key date.

With a mintage of 9.7 million it's one of only 9 coins in the entire Jefferson series with annual mintage below 10 million. A keeper for sure.

Any pre-1960 coin found in circulation is a keeper for me!
