Always nice to pick up a little silver at face value. Well done @n9. As for the rest, yes spending them can be fun.

Very cool acquisition. Yes, spend them, or take them to your bank.

Outstanding! Quote:You could always 'gift' them to Jbuck My suggestion is to use them for tips or wait for the next coin show to spend them.

I actually found a great place to use them! Our community has a Farmer's Market twice a month in the cooler months (desert SW USA) and several of the booth owners love it when I pay for my purchases in Ike's, halves or SBA's. I usually grab a pocket full of them and use them there, some of the guys give them to their kids or grandkids or save them for themselves.

Make sure you check for varieties!
Super easy to spend these, your bank will take them as well.

I always say, when in doubt, best to put them on ebay if you're not sure what to do...A little over a year ago, one of my banks had a customer turn in 900 of them. I purchased all of them (unlike you, I found no keepers) and sold them for about a $300 net profit (after ebay fees), mostly in $100 auction lots.
