Yep, any silver War Nickel find in coin roll hunting is great! I find them at times coin roll hunting...

you can build a complete War Nickels set by searching, though you'll probably need to look through 100 to 200 thousand nickels or so

Following is my data. I shared here on the CCF my quest to build a complete set of Jefferson nickels via roll searching, a goal achieved at 320,800 nickels searched.

Although I stopped CRH in late 2019, I did keep very detailed data on my find rates and published several long threads on the topic.

For War Nickels - I found one on average every 2,861 nickels searched. This is equivalent to one War Nickel per 71.5 rolls searched.

The most difficult to find is a tie between the 1942-S and 1944-S where I found 2 of each at 394,800 nickels searched when I stopped looking, This is equivalent to one find on average every 197,400 nickels searched.

So yes - a complete set of War Nickels can be found with patient CRH.
