I have one thats a 36 if the other bid or etc you had going dont work out. Might have most of those years actually. Neat collection tho, I've always been a fan of wheat pennies in general

Thanks for that offer - I will be looking to upgrade my 1930's cent coins to AU or BU at some point, but for now, I'm looking for that elusive '36 Matte (satin) finish proof cent. As soon as you have enough forum point (posts - you need 250 of them to sell here, per forum rules), I would love to see what you have to sell. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...sp#rulesid12

Congratulations on putting together a beautiful Lincoln Wheat 1936-1942 Proof set! You should be VERY proud!
Happy Hunting for the 1936 Satin Proof!

Quote: I'm looking for that elusive '36 Matte (satin) finish proof cent. My most regrettable "non-purchase" was a beautiful, full red 36 matte. I found one at a Central States show ~20 years ago. Put it in my buy stack at the dealer (looked at it for a good 20 mins) and chickened out for $850 on top of the other $800 worth I was getting. When he said $1650 I was like oh no! - I didn't even have that much cash with me. My choice was to put back like 10 other coins and get the satin - the other coins were too nice to pass on. I miss that dang satin.

Good luck on your mission to get the 1936 Satin Lincoln Proof. It is my favorite regular issue proof coin from 1936 to date.
