One wonders if the process of rolling a paper wrap causes more friction on the coins such all the marks, if you get a chance to see the poly rolls the coins look really well struck

Ended up flipping mine for a quick buck. Was offered 160, then 200, told them split the difference and let's do 180. Feel kinda bad seeing they're being released to public tomorrow for 79.99 plus tax. Buyer was happy to get them early but may still shoot a few bucks back.

Just got an email from TSC saying my roll was now shipped! My initial order was done on dec. 6th of 2022. 79+tx. I really thought my order was going to be cancelled.

On a fb coin collectors group earlier today, someone posted a screenshot from the mint website where it says sales were open for Masters Club members, it was written mintage of 400 rolls...? Is that even possible? Perhaps 4000...or mostlikely 40k rolls?

Looking back on the mint website, I believe the 400 mintage was for the coin above the 2$ rolls. The way the person made his screenshot caused confusion. False alarm here.

Ordered 2 "Special Wrap Rolls" this morning.
I used CC&C as they had free shipping, and only charged me GST.
TSC wanted about $15 for shipping, and then wanted to charge me GST and QST.

A long wait for those rolls, but I finally got them!

CC&C and TSC coins are one and the same.
Their costs to sell on TSC must be higher than from their site, and TSC must charge other provincial taxes since they are not located in Ontario only, thus the difference.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

I agree. Plus they're probably adding on the taxes too!. That's almost what they're charging on ebay.

What's that famous PT Barnum saying .......

I'm giving this thread a bump, because I learned something that maybe of interest to members here;

I recently was in Winnipeg, and my kids wanted to do the mint "tour" - it was probably my fifteenth tour, and I am still a little bitter that they closed to loop so now it's now not even half as long as it used to be - but, they are continually changing the tour ever so slightly- so for the "half-tour" this one was probably the best one I had been on.

Anyway, I learned during the tour that these were distributed to (?)Tim Hortons near the launch - so there is no doubt in my mind that there were non-special-rolls of these coins.

I was also surprised to see that these coins are still on the production floor;
We saw two(?-I cannot clearly remember, and I was not allowed to take pictures) machines still doing quality checks on these coins.
I expect production of these to far exceed past commemorative coins.

Which leaves only one question;
Will the RCM actually disclose proper production numbers for these?
(I knew they hit a home run on this design when I first got wind of it.)
