I've seen a lot of coins graded 66 that weren't that nice, but it's like they toss a dart any more for grades. No matter what it will grade nicely though. Great find(s).

Lawest, I have to thank you. I didn't even know that an inverted mint mark even existed! If you hadn't made this post, I wouldn't have gone back through my 1946 Wheat penny roll. I had the good fortune to find a heavily circulated IMM in my little stash! http://goccf.com/t/448732 |

@Brandmeister. this is what this forum is all about. I first learned of the 1946 S IMM on this forum several years ago, that is why I was on the look-out for them. I can credit a lot of my finds to the expert education I receive here.

For me personally this post was one of the most instructive. I collected as far 1936 some strange MM's but me I never had one really in my hand to see exact. The photos are exponents but not as real coin in the hand. I find as IMM's and not sure of them till 1968. Maybe if I go and stay with VAN (PCGS) or Tanner (doubbledies.com) I will learn this.
