If anyone would like to swap coins with me, you can view my coins at https://en.numista.com/ and look me up (ewen0hu)

Thank you.

As I interpret this evidence about one third of the mintage of the S-mint quarters are in circulation implying about half survive in pristine condition.

It will be a few years until we know how the W-,mints have fared.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

I've searched through hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of quarters and have only found one "W" and one "S". The "S" mint was obtained from a vending machine in my old apartment complex.
Nice to find at least one of each!

I search several hundred dollars of quarters a week. I come across more west point quarters than the NIFC S quarters. I have not found a Woman's quarter yet however.

I found 11 W mints & 1 2015 S New York America business strike in my searches. I know they are selling 2022-S Maya business strike rolls for $200 plus. Guess which roll I don't have....

i found a Florida Everglades S-mint quarter some time ago, I recall posting it here. i'll have to search my pix for it.

I've found 6 or 7 W-mint quarters in total. all my finds are either in change I receive or picked off the ground somewhere, not from roll searching or any other way.

edit, a few minutes later...

from september 2023... egad, that was nearly 2 years ago already...

edited again, several hours later..

i couldn't remember how I came to discover that coin, so I had to go looking for my post about it from two years ago. found it on the main coin forum, interesting finds from circulation... my thought at the time was that I received it in change from the local convenience store.

Found 32 W quarters from rolls when they were originally released, at least one from each release. Never found a BU S quarter a few beat up proof S quarters. I buy the sets of rolls from the mint, pick out several choice coins and release the rest into our local area. Somebody must be picking the S coins out as I have never got one back. This is a small town area, population of 700. Hope that I am getting some new collectors out there.

I CRH quarters a good bit and have found over a dozen over the years. They tend to be way less frequent than the West Point quarters which I have found well over 50. Probably because they weren't released into circulation. When I do find them, some are UNC and some are AU.
