Received my coins a few days ago so wanted to post. I'm still scratching my head on how to show these in the contest.

I'm looking forward to seeing any additional contributions; there have been a lot of nice ones so far, and I must say I really like the tea party pic from KenKat! That was very creative (imagination and creativity are things I'm sorely lacking... ).

I finally got some photo's to work, well at least as good as I can get them. When I 1st got Rob's gift, I liked the reverse, of course, and the obverse, because I love new effigy's of Liz. So I thought I'd post as many QE II images to match the denomination of Robs coins. Ended up with 7 effigy's. 2 British, 4 Canadian, and 1 Australian. The 10 cent is Speimen. The 5 cent Is NCLT, antique proof finish. It had to be a small nickel, and this one fit the bill. Very neat seeing Liz on a fishscale. The 3 Canadian cents cover the penny and the 2 pence. Had to use some artist leeway as I didn't have any 2 denominations with Liz. Those 3 were put away by my Grandmother when I was born. The 20 cents was a gift from triggersmob. Needed that denomination to cover the 20 cent. It is the lowest mintage 20 cent from Australia. I had the 50 cent piece in mind right off the bat. Had to cover the 1st portrait from Canada with this nice chunk of silver. Once again, thank you Rob. For your generosity and the fun I had putting this together.
