Quote: Hokie has a budget and I respect that he can adhere to such a thing. While I have patience in waiting for a package, budgeting is my weakness and I tend to blow them anytime I'm near a coin shop or show. @cointagous, coin shows are never a problem for me - I have the cash in my pocket and that's my budget. Sort of like when I used to go to Vegas to try my luck at the black jack tables - I left my ATM card in the room safe so I wouldn't be tempted when invariably my luck ran out... And, it's only been recently where my willpower has increased to the point I don't blow my monthly budget shopping for coins and currency online. It's definitely not been that way in the past! Too many times I'd look and think "I've GOT to have that!, I just won't buy anything the next month or two", but that usually didn't work..

OK, here's my feeble attempt. Sort of the same theme as barkeep, so not that original and I'll accept any penalty points for that . I had noticed that the designer of the reverses of these coins, Matt Dent, used the full British coat-of-arms on the reverse of the 1 pound coin. So, I superimposed the 1p through 50p coins on an enlarged image of the pound coin.

NumisRob, my set just arrived - thank you so very much! Seems like I'm facing stiff competition with all of these fine submissions. I must contemplate this for a day or two.

Two Ladies Having a Proper English Tea in the Garden, c. 2023 This photo essay reflects two ladies (CoCo Puff and Princess Peanut) having tea together in their garden. Fortunately their good friend NumisRob had the correct change available! These are my wife's favorite elephants which she has featured in other photos. The concept was mine but she helped with the setup and details.

Received my coins a few days ago so wanted to post. I'm still scratching my head on how to show these in the contest.
