Nice pickup, although having an insider at the bank could prove to be much nicer. Certainly, more to come.

What an amazing find!

You definitely got quite the return on a $1.00 investment, too!

Great coin for the price!

I would stop and get a $10 Dunkin's gift card for that teller. It would be a plus for future "gifts" and also show your appreciation.

Definitely bring the tellers something for a gift, otherwise that's pretty ungrateful.

Nice score. My luck was not so good.

Yesterday I went to my local bank and asked if they had any dollar coins. "Sure" said the teller. "How many do you want?" To which I replied "$200 if you have it". Transaction completed, teller went to the vault and brought out 8 quarter-sized rolls. NOT what I was expecting. Naivety strikes again.

Got 'em home and opened 4 rolls before I quit. All were either Presidential dollars (2011 or earlier) or 2009 Three Sisters dollar. My vision is bad and had to give up trying to read the edge lettering. Will return them for paper so I have cash if I find a Morgan dollar of interest somewhere. Next time: 'show me' first and then I'll show you mine.
