I think you're misinterpreting the description.
"Up For Bid 1851 US Braided Hair Large Cent 1C (INV LC)
Listing Note- (INV..) listed in the above description does not pertain to the specific item being sold. This is for inventory management purposes. Thank you. "
They're saying that "(INV LC)" is their inventory code and not a grade or description of the coin.

That area near the rim could be damage or a Lamination.

that's what I was unsure about. The denticles appear to be missing in that area too. The reverse was the most interesting to me part of the coin.

it was a die state A N-21 which Grellman says is rare. Coin itself is R-3+ but those many lines are something I have not seen before in years of looking at large cents.

Wow those reverse die lines are crazy! Never seen that before either. I think the obverse defect is a planchet lamination. The same pink color can be seen across the entire left obverse.
