I've thought about what I'd do with the higher valued coins and having empty slots in the album and decided I'd take a more common year and put it reverse facing front in that slot to signify that I had that coin but it was slabbed or in a flip or whatever.

One must be happy with their choices, so to each their own!  As for me... I have cracked three slabs to fill Dansco holes and before I am done I will free three more.  |

Your suggestion makes sense and I have done that for other albums. If I didn't already have a full set of cents, I would have cracked out the 2 missing.  |

I don't think I should say a journey is complete. A coin shop I frequent recently got in a 1922 no D and while I never contemplated getting one, the price was good and it wasn't a weak D, so I hemmed and hawed for a few days and decided to buy it. So unless a1955 appears at a great price, the collection maybe complete.   |
