Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 03/27/2024 1:56 pm I did a Photoshop image overlay of the coin to see if anything lines up on the reverse to match up with the anomaly on the obverse. I really don't see anything out of place. If you want, I can post the image, but I need to check Mr. Kerr if the alignment isn't off any. With the detailed image I don't see any pushed metal. ~~I'm thinking that this is a strike through, but I'm not 100%. The shape looks like someone dropped a wooden match into the press.~~ Edit: Wow! I though we were looking at an incuse area. I didn't even think of a Cud! Nice error coin! ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T!
