Looks counterfeit. Date and mint mark not good at all.

I'm forever amazed at "some" counterfeit coins and I did spend 20 minutes comparing the OP's coin to "real" 1884-s Morgans for my own knowledge gaining. The Counterfeiter got lazy... Not even the slightest hint of the Designer's Initial "M" and the hair tufts near where the intial should be are not even close to accurate. Missing much detail. There's certainly other things to note as well.

@Cmwood If you had no idea it was fake then I feel for you. Especially if you paid a premium for it. I have a friend that recently purchased some Trade dollars only to discover they were all fake.

The level of counterfeit coins out there truly amazes me and angers me at the same time. Easy to be fooled sometimes. It's good to have a support group like this Forum to turn to, when you think a coin is suspicious in any way, or even if you're thinking of a purchase.
