Still hard to tell the originality of the surfaces, especially on the reverse, but mid-AU looks about right. The split tail just indicates a decent strike and not a lot of wear, but probably not much of a premium over and above the actual grade. Hope it looks good when you get it in hand!

This is a problem coin. How much is the amount you are purchasing for, that would be driving factor. 1913 is a key date? If not, please pass.

Something looks odd with the craginess of the cheekbones. Maybe die clash remnants? I can see clash marks in EPU, and die flow around the bust, buffalo, and edges, yet the fields look very flat and clean.

It was 34$ so not a big investment

when you repost please refrain from overrhead lighting. glare makes it almost impossible to assess the surfaces. watch the glare. we don't need a ton of light on it. just enough to see what the coin looks like in hand

I think this one might make it to MS-63. Looks like a nice coin well worth what you paid for it.

I've seen this look on buffs quite a bit I think its natural and just due to how it toned. also, you have Die Deterioration along the jawline. buffs have so many issues, you have a weak obv strike and what appears to be later obv die state. in fact that die is trashed. all the photos look different. from looking like the original skin has been removed to nothing telling me the coin was circulated.

i pass on calling this one. if you twisted my arm i'd say low MS

Thank you both, difference in pics is that pic 1 and 3 is indirect daylight inside. pic 2 and 4 a iphone light from 3 oclock added if I remember correctly. Wanted to show that it has luster. I wondered about jawline and your theory seems good Pz, I really don't see any other explanation. I take low ms and split tail for 34 bucks.
