Crazy that work put into it to sell for only 9 dollars, you would think the art alone would be worth more! Even looking at the rim, you can't tell where he reconnected the two to join

Pretty cool, and a keeper in my book. See alot of these, for sure. I have found only a 1/2 of one so far.

Must have been a pretty good machinist to keep the weight right at 5 grams.

Pretty neat find. You're gonna win a lot of coin flips, assuming you get to pick the side! =P

I had the same thought about the weight. Is that an accurate dynamic with magician coins? I'll look it up now

The seam is much less visible in these pictures than on your typical Magician's coin, but I believe it's the second picture that shows the seam. It's especially noticeable at the rim next to the date and clockwise from the last T in "TRUST".

Actually it is NOT impossible for this to happen. There is at least 1 mint made Indian cent with 2 heads.

I actually don't see a seam on either face. However, I do seem to detect a faint seam (or at least a horizontal line) along the edge. That would be consistent with the reverse face of two nickels being ground off and the two coins then being joined together by solder or some adhesive. If there is no detectable seam on either face or the edge, then test the coin's ring. If it's a Magician's coin, it should give off a dull "thunk". If the ring is normal, then we need to consider the unthinkable.
