I made these "photos" on my old Epson scanner. I believe I scanned at 9600 dpi. Of course I had to reduce them to comply with the size requirements here.

I agree that these are die scratches representing intentional die abrasion. While most die scratches travel in multiple directions, this case is somewhat unusual in that the scratches mainly travel northwest to southeast. Although they pursue a similar direction, they are much thinner than die scrapes from a feeder/ejector
