The rims are the first thing I look at on a proof is found in the wild. These do not look correct.

Looks like a Business Strike. We'll need better photos to grade it.
Errers and Varietys.

You found that in a roll? Nice. Not a proof, just a lightly circulated coin. AU, probably cleaned.

Yes found in a roll... ok Thank you for all the input. I also believe it is a business strike, and all your combined knowledge helps me feel better about my decisions...I appreciate it. I would have not wanted to sell it if it turned out to be a proof.

BTW... it doesn't look anything like the way it turned out in the photos. In person, its red, not brown. and has cartwheel luster.... I think Apple starts messing with our phones the closer it is to the next model release. Its an iphone 14 Pro max, just over a year old.. . it used to take good pics... now something is definetly off.
Anyone else having issues with their iphone's camera?

Maybe I can help one of you... I don't buy rolls labeled "unsearched" and only from sellers that have a lot of listings and a lot of sales that wouldn't have time to search their rolls if they wanted to. I have had pretty good luck searching for "wheaties" this way... Thanks again.

updated pics... Its still not very clear.. I'm not sure why my phone is acting up... I think the die lines match the PCGS photo. Does this make it a slightly circulated proof?

You have a business strike, no doubt. 1909 was the first year for the Lincoln Cent. The hubs & dies were brand new and the mints produced many high quality coins that can exhibit proof-like qualities. The question of "is my 1909 a proof" has come up perhaps a 100 or more times in the forum - even by yours truly. Try using the forum search feature - you'll see what I mean. Not a proof - even with square rims and matte fields:
