It hasn't slacked off from this direction. I was laid-off from my job as a quality engineer last week. It had been very stressful at work since the lay-offs started last fall and it's kind of a relief to be out of there. I am going to take a month off before I even start looking for another job and become an amateur coin dealer in the interim. I hope everyone is enjoying their spring! See you around!

Spring? It's autumn down here in the other hemisphere.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Sap You mean "Fall" As everyone knows Since the Southern hemisphere is below the equator everyone down there walks on their heads and is "Falling" off the Earth. thank Heaven for gravity! but no matter how far or wide I roam, I still call Australia I still call Australia, I still call Australia home. bherring1964 Good luck with your job hunt and with your new coin endeavors. traffic may be down a little but the faithful are still here

I'm not looking forward that I might not be able to post! I am wondering if I bring my laptop, if I'll have Internet service (wi-fi) over there I went a couple years ago and a Month is a long time. I want to be able to get on the CCF at least once a day

I think you're correct in your observation. I've been posting less than usual because there's a lull in things to talk about, at least on my end. However, there will be three new coins arriving later this month, and that might give us something to talk about. Isn't the 2009 Lincoln Cent 2nd version supposed to be released on Thursday the 14th? That's just a few days away. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I go searching the banks for it. Ken

Spring time is the time to start swinging that Metal Detector so you can post cool stuff in the fall!

I haven't noticed any slouch in traffic. I've belonged to several different types of forums in the past (non coin related) and this one definitely moves 100X faster than anything else I've ever been involved with.
Maybe some people are like me. I check this site probably three times a day but might not post for a couple days at a time.

Me too, Elimist only I post even less times than you; but that's mainly because my coin knowledge is pretty limited and I mostly just hang back and learn. Now and then I give my "two bob's worth" about different stuff (usually non-coin-specific), but now much more cautious, lest somehow I offend (getting sensitive inme old age) And Zohar444old pal, I made that precise comment on another forum me belonginto (aborigine speak), because there seemed a certain lull, and so I guess it just happens. Quote: Maybe I am scaring people away? Well wheezydog , told the same thing to my shrink and he said I must be going nuts to think that . But yeah, been leap-frogged in life a few times meself, even recently, but dozen really madda. And bherring1964... nevermind mate, everything will turn out just fine, believe me Cheers,

I haven't been posting my usual 2-3 per day lately. Just too busy and I don't usually get to the site over the weekends.
