It hasn't slacked off from this direction. I was laid-off from my job as a quality engineer last week.

It had been very stressful at work since the lay-offs started last fall and it's kind of a relief to be out of there.

I am going to take a month off before I even start looking for another job and become an amateur coin dealer in the interim.

I hope everyone is enjoying their spring! See you around!

Spring? It's autumn down here in the other hemisphere.

Sap
You mean "Fall"

As everyone knows Since the Southern hemisphere is below the equator

everyone down there walks on their heads and is "Falling" off the Earth.

thank Heaven for gravity!

Me too. I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck to you my friend.

I'm looking forward to September, I'm going to Denmark for a whole Month. I'm not looking forward that I might not be able to post! I am wondering if I bring my laptop, if I'll have Internet service (wi-fi) over there I went a couple years ago and a Month is a long time. I want to be able to get on the CCF at least once a day

I think you're correct in your observation. I've been posting less than usual because there's a lull in things to talk about, at least on my end. However, there will be three new coins arriving later this month, and that might give us something to talk about.

Isn't the 2009 Lincoln Cent 2nd version supposed to be released on Thursday the 14th? That's just a few days away. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I go searching the banks for it.

Yes - the 14th it is. My brother-in-law works very close to Union Station in D.C. and I've asked him to pick up a dozen rolls for me Thursday. I even sent him $20 for the trouble! Nice guy huh?

I haven't noticed any slouch in traffic. I've belonged to several different types of forums in the past (non coin related) and this one definitely moves 100X faster than anything else I've ever been involved with.

Maybe some people are like me. I check this site probably three times a day but might not post for a couple days at a time.

Me too, Elimist only I post even less times than you; but that's mainly because my coin knowledge is pretty limited and I mostly just hang back and learn. Now and then I give my "two bob's worth" about different stuff (usually non-coin-specific), but now much more cautious, lest somehow I offend (getting sensitive inme old age)

And Zohar444old pal, I made that precise comment on another forum me belonginto (aborigine speak), because there seemed a certain lull, and so I guess it just happens.

I haven't been posting my usual 2-3 per day lately. Just too busy and I don't usually get to the site over the weekends.
