Thanks! I sure wish I could find them cheaper. That would require an active hunt for them, though. Lol.
And I don't really have the time/energy for that.

I agree. I tried seeing if they had any today that were used at my local coin dealer, but they had zero.

True. I think I would still prefer to keep the albums I already have. Lol.
Much easier honestly. I wish Dansco albums were more widely available. I tried searching for a Dansco Lincoln Cents album from 1909-2009, and evidently, they aren't made anymore, much like other Dansco albums that used to be available when I was into coin collecting over ten years ago.

The Dansco website says they'll be working on cent albums in December. I hope they do the Wheat cents first. Can't find it anywhere.

So I have come to another overpass! My current Dansco Jefferson album 1938-2005 has 5 pages. If I want to add in the newer Jeffersons, from 2006 and on with no proofs, there is a separate album for them. However, I can also find the single page on ebay and add it to my current album. All ports with mint mark info are contained to one page, the second one being blank. Dansco albums aren't cheap. I can buy one of these pages for under 20 dollars, compared to spending 30-45 for a new 2006 and onward album, which only has two pages. Kind of a waste of space. And I would still have room for additional blank pages as well. I think Dansco albums have room for 8 or 9 pages in one binder? Possibly depending on the binder size. I know the binder for the non-proof album isn't as thick as the proof only issue one, so I would tend to think it's a little smaller. The Lincoln Cent 1909-2009 album with proofs I am fairly certain is 9 pages long. Any thoughts?

Yes, it depends on the binder size. They range from 5/8" (four pages) to 1-1/4" (eight pages, some say nine will fit but I have never tried). https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pr...sco-binders/Quote: Any thoughts? I bought a binder and added blank cents, nickels, and dimes pages to hold the overflow. One big binder is cheaper than three.

Interesting. I wonder what the size is for the non-proof Jefferson album is.. I'll have to look into it. My guess is I could probably fit at least one more page comfortably, maybe two. I'm not really a fan of the idea of purchasing an entire new album for just two pages, either. This is one thing I'm not a fan of about Dansco. Sometimes Whitman is layed out a little better. For example, Dansco's Buffalo nickel album has only two pages, Whitman's has three. This is perhaps because all nickel pages from Dansco seem to have a standard of 35 slots per page. Whitman I believe is 30 or less, depending on the series.

Quote: My guess is I could probably fit at least one more page comfortably, maybe two. Pull a page or two from another album and lay them between the last page and the back. Does it close flat? I ran into another problem when adding pages to albums in the past—the posts were not long enough! The album could hold the pages, but the posts did not. I was able to get Dansco to send me longer posts for free, but that was nearly thirty years ago. Quote: I'm not really a fan of the idea of purchasing an entire new album for just two pages, either. Agreed, which is why I went my own way (with the custom album and blank pages) when my original albums could not hold more pages or coins. I should add I did the same for the Indian Head cents, Buffalo nickels, and Mercury dimes. I did not buy three albums. I bought one binder and six blank pages. Much cheaper. You can get properly labeled pages for a little more... https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pr...ement-pages/

Yeah.... I found that adding any more than one page, it's not gonna work lol Kind of annoying. If I could find a bit longer posts like you mentioned, I could probably add more. But... I don't see any option like that anywhere. I don't really like doing blank pages as much personally, as I like having the coin info underneath.
6 pages is max evidently in my album without adding new posts. I am not entirely sure if I should add the page for the 2006-2023 nickels, or just a blank page. Blank page is good for adding random nickels I've found in my coin roll hunts that I like keeping around. Either album from Dansco for 2006 and onward of Jefferson's, comes with two pages, whether it's proof or not. Only difference as far as I know as the BU only album has all the slots and dedicated info on the first page, with the second being blank. The proof album has all the info spread out within the two pages. I might be inclined to add proofs to the 2006 and newer. Not sure. I don't really generally care for proofs, but either way being that the album is two pages long, there is going to be almost an entire blank page lol
I suppose I could purchase a larger binder, remove the nickel pages from my existing album and swap them over to a new one.

Yes, this can be frustrating. Take your time and you will find what makes you happy! And continue to "think out loud" whenever you want. We are good sounding boards.
