It seems like you are speculating that it might be due to the specific mint set-up for quarters: Quote: All four coins were struck by a high-speed Schuler press using an inverted die setup (reverse die as hammer die). Does this mean that only quarters (or even only some quarters) are struck in this way? And no other denomination? Fascinating!
