Quote: My last pickup from the regional coin show earlier this year was a surprise: this lovely 1921-S PCGS VG-08. It will remain in its slab. Fantastic! Quote: Just the 1921 left for me to complete that year's key date trifecta.

I am inspired by your journey and look forward to your progress. If I can help it along in any way, I will. You can fill that 21 spot with this one temporarily on me if you are interested and move on to the next one. One that I upgraded is yours to keep you moving forward. PM me if interested.

Thank you, Dowhat, that is an extremely kind offer! I try to avoid having to upgrade coins or use hole fillers, so I will regretfully pass, but I greatly appreciate your generosity!

I picked up this 1919 PCGS F-15 for my set, which was slightly more than I wanted to spend (since I look for F-12 generally), but when a wholesome coin like this comes up you go for it anyway. It will remain in its slab.

Thank you both! Next up is a 1916-D ANACS F-15. I'm not intentionally seeking out slabbed coins, because I'd prefer them to be in my album, but this was another example of jumping at a nice coin. It will remain in its slab, at least for now.
