I say XF40 possibly a details grade.

Interested to know why you mentioned a "Details" grade @joeturbo26.

The scrape across the head is worrisome, can't tell much from the picture. The cheek, jaw and wheat grains are pretty flat.

Well it was detailed as cleaned - so it will make an extremely nice album cent.

Here are the auction pictures just for the heck of it.

My guess is they didn't like the reverse. You picture looks a lot different from theirs. What are we seeing on the head?

It looks like a "smooth" area - it's hard to see in hand, only if you angle it just right. It isn't a scratch or gouge.

Of course. You have a professional photographer who is taking pictures so the coin sells - compared to me just taking pictures to show how the coin looks as best I can.

I was going to add it into a Dansco album anyhow - will it retone in the album or does it have to be out in open air for awhile?

I have had many Lincoln cents in my Dansco album for 40 years now. None of the red or red-brown cents have acquired anything more than typical album rim toning, if anything at all. That being said, this one looks fine enough for an album and I would not care if it ever re-toned. YMMV.
