what is the year and mint of this cent? We need to add it to the title for the searchability functions of the Forums.

but, this coin was intentionally damaged

So we have it narrowed down to 1959 to 1981 and some of 1982 for a date..

the blurry initials are of no use in helping to closing in on the date.

Let me get this straight.
You would like us to tell you the date of the coin, even though you haven't provided an image of the obverse of the coin?
As others have said, the closest we can come is to tell you it is a copper Memorial cent with a date range of 1959 to 1982. (Most likely not a proof coin)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
