How many thousands of dollars will the US Mint charge for one silver halve?

So the SQ $1 with DJT will replace the Native American (Sacagawea) $1 we saw in the 2025 Uncirculated, Proof, and Silver Proof Sets ?

How special. . .

I kinda wish they would just retire the Roosevelt dime design and run with the Liberty design.
I can get with that.

They will still be fun to add to the collection, especially in silver.
I agree. Then again, I like them. I was expecting much worse.

Sadly, you just have to dig a little deeper into the announcement to see the three proposed abominations:
Absolute garbage.

So, legal experts, can these be legally minted with him still being alive?

I believe these will be a stand-alone offer and/or part of a special set, like a revised/renamed LESP set. There is no way they should stick a large dollar in the regular sets, which would be a first since 1978.

But, this is the world we live in now, so I guess it is to be expected.

Does it matter? The Mint will do whatever he tells them to do and there is nobody to hold him accountable if he breaks the law in the process.

True. But I am curious. At least with killing the penny from circulation, the law allowed it.

Do not need any president on the dollar coin. Bring back liberty for the 250 celebration.

IF DJT shows up in any of the sets, would you cancel your subscriptions ?

Yes. Without hesitation. And I would be very, very disappointed.

Just to be clear, I would do the same if it were JRB or KDH. Current or past living presidents should never appear on our coins. Never.
