That's a nice MS66 CoinForMe. I just picked up a raw 1913 Type 1 which purports to be a proof. It cost considerably more than what you got, though much less than certified proofs. It has better details on the buffalo's legs and mantle than the MS66.
I don't plan on sending it in. The rims are squared off and the edge is mirror like. Maybe some future owner will slab it to pump up the value.

Nice Buffalos Humanist1287. Great price and readable dates  They don't really look cleaned to me, at least they still have the darker background patina.

Thanks, jbuck and EV.  I've been trying to purchase some more from the seller that I previously bought the whole batch of coins from, as I thought they looked really nice, especially considering they were super cheap. Sadly, it doesn't appear that they have any more of the dates that I need.

Some new acquisitions  1921 and 1924-D The 24-D has a little bit of scratches on it. But, for under 10 dollars and the date being very readable for a Buffalo, I'm not expecting a perfect coin.   Definitely making some progress on the first page. I'd love to upgrade some of these eventually.  Now that I've kind of "slowed down," and decided to enjoy the journey, I'm not in a particular rush to finish the set. I've been trying to find a bit nicer coins, which doesn't seem to be too hard as long as it's not a lower mintage coin and I know what I want to spend.

Very nice Buffalo nickels, but if that graded 1913 type I is an MS66, I wonder what mine would grade for.

This is a great series. It's the second I completed after my Jefferson collection. Like the OP, I was excited and on a bit of a buying spree. I bought three Buffs on ebay, probably in 2012 or so, which was my first coin purchase online. I tried to get VG examples, no acid dates. I did get UNCs for the later dates, though. To me, there's no other coin that pops as much as an UNC Buffalo. To that end, I started a year set for UNC. I didn't complete that, though, as some years are really hard to find at 63-64, which is my range. I stopped hunting for an 18, 21 and 33 :). The complete set took me about 3 years. If I remember correctly, the 26 S proved the hardest. I recommend reviewing what fortcollins said, especially about weak strike and incremental steps that increase price considerably.

After responding, I realized I would like to complete that year set. Here's an example of why a year set is difficult. A quick look at ebay and I see this. It's PCGS 63 and will be priced based on that. But look at the spotting. 64 really jumps in price. For UNC of more expensive dates, I do rely on 3rd party graders, especially because of my inability to tell a weak strike from wear- at least online.
