Got these all today. I got them from the same seller on ebay. I think they look pretty nice, especially for 2 bucks each. I think they might have possibly been cleaned, though. I can't imagine that really matters, since they obviously aren't worth much other than using for hole fillers.

Humanist1287, very nice coins and deal you got!

I was in a frenzy of selling most of my Canadian coins on ebay.
Unintentional stupidity, I also added a few of my American coins for sale.
One of them was a Buffalo that I loved because it paired up with another First Year Buffalo of mine (Type 2).
It went within 1 day of me posting this Buffalo nickel.
. . This story I'm getting to is: I want my Buffalo back!
In hand, these Buffalos are one of the most beautiful coins the US minted...
I keep looking on ebay for a replacement. I see a few, but none are catching my eye as the one I sold at a reasonable price...

Transaction fee: $48.76, Shipping: $19.29, I received from ebay: $296.95.

That's a nice MS66 CoinForMe. I just picked up a raw 1913 Type 1 which purports to be a proof. It cost considerably more than what you got, though much less than certified proofs. It has better details on the buffalo's legs and mantle than the MS66.

I don't plan on sending it in. The rims are squared off and the edge is mirror like. Maybe some future owner will slab it to pump up the value.

They don't really look cleaned to me, at least they still have the darker background patina.

I've been trying to purchase some more from the seller that I previously bought the whole batch of coins from, as I thought they looked really nice, especially considering they were super cheap.

Sadly, it doesn't appear that they have any more of the dates that I need.

Some new acquisitions 1921 and 1924-D
The 24-D has a little bit of scratches on it. But, for under 10 dollars and the date being very readable for a Buffalo, I'm not expecting a perfect coin.

Now that I've kind of "slowed down," and decided to enjoy the journey, I'm not in a particular rush to finish the set. I've been trying to find a bit nicer coins, which doesn't seem to be too hard as long as it's not a lower mintage coin and I know what I want to spend.
