Thanks

I do like the2006 Silver Set OGP. The Air-Tite doesn't fit tight so it easier to remove them, and they stack well

Thanks

To be honest I was underwhelmed by how light the 1/10 and 1/12 ounce coins felt in hand

The half has some weight to it but if I hadn't handled a 1 ounce gold eagle I probably would not have considered buying into these

i acquired one of each-- all 3-- back in 2016/17 and I still have them. very happy that I did, though I wish I would have bought 2 of each. yes, it was worth it. they're beautiful and now are much pricier & much more valuable.

You probably paid half of what I paid?

Even at the current prices I think they are worth the cost

I love all 3 of the designs and now I have crisp clean versions of each

Looking back,

The 100Th Anniversary Gold coins Were/Are Stunning -

Checking back I can Not locate the Original from the Mint price of the Mercury dime, ?

However, These are the release prices from 2016, From the U S Mint:

The 2016- West Point Gold 1/2 oz Walking Liberty from the Mint 11/16 - $ 869.00

The 2016 - West Point Gold 1/4 oz Standing Liberty from the Mint 9/16 - $ 489.00.

The price of Gold in 2016 Was $1,078.52 per oz in January-2016.
That price fluctuated from the Above price up to $1,152.00 in December of the same year.

The price of Gold as I write This, $ 4,613.40 per Oz.

The 2016-W Mercury dime Centennial Gold Coin was originally released by the U.S. Mint on April 21, 2016, for $205. It is a 1/10th-ounce, 24-karat gold coin with a limited mintage of 125,000, which sold out in 45 minutes due to high demand

I missed out on the 1/10 oz Mercury, and still haven't picked one up. I was able to get the other two from the mint at the time. I need to put the 1/20th back on my radar now! Amazing idea for the set display too!

This set has me hooked on gold, and now I can't wait to get the 2026 Enhanced UC Eagle.

Oh man, same here!
Last year was just the half ounce, the 25th anniversary Sac dollar. It just struck me as such a cool idea. The "golden dollar" in real gold.
I've never been the real big gold collector, just the ones in my sets with ASEs, then decided I needed all 3 of the 20th Anniversary sets. The reverse proof buffalo and the Ultra High Relief St Gaudens. I think I'd really be torn between this years St Gaudens "Best of The Mint" and the EU, except for the fact that I have the UHR. The Mint can't top that UHR, I don't care what they do now. Having the only reverse proof gold eagle and now the EU, it's going to be really special.
I was excited when the release was a month away and not we're actually in the month of May!

Boba, these are great coins in nice packaging (I prefer OGP)

That is not the OGP.

The coins were sold individually at staggered time intervals and never sold in a set of 3.

They are in "OGP", just not the OGP that they came in. So more technically, they are in "GP", if that makes any sense.

i went to APMEX and had a look at what they are selling those gold commemoratives for now. wow... I acquired all 3-- half, quarter & tenth oz.-- for below the current selling price of just the quarter oz. coin... they're selling the tenth oz. coin for $900! the cost of those coins has at least tripled after 10 years.

I just looked. I bought mine in between 2022 and 2023. I was looking only for PCGS 70s. Total cost was $2710. At the time I definitely overpaid on the half buying it at a local shop but I don't mind giving those guys a few extra bucks. I want to make sure they stay in business. After I bought them I used ebay to get the OGP as well for each of them. Probably paid 10 a piece at the time.
