Coin is on the way. I sent it non-machinable, so it's anyone's guess how long that will take to arrive.

Hey, buy what you like. Certanly for higher grade coins I won't be put off by a hole for 19th century coins. Sure, they grade down a couple of grades, but to me the hole is part of their story. I might view them as a gap filler in my main collection, but I still like the idea that the coin was probably holed so the owner could keep it close, possibly for a months-long journey by sea to the other side of the globe. This doesn't have a hole in it, but she's pretty worn. Came as part of a lot that included a much nicer 1841 Braided Hair Cent and an 1872 Indian Head. For me this was just a bonus. I think it's my oldest US cent.

Thank you, Buffalo soldat. When it comes to key date Large Cents, I don't mind if they've holes or problems. If I can get them cheaper, then that's a win for me. Nice coin yourself!
