Very weak strike for a War Nickel - but that is not supposed to affect the technical grade.

I'm going to say MS64.

Especially from San Francisco.
Attractive toning (and I'm not a toner guy!).

I think in spite of a very weak strike this one might just make a MS66. Very nice unmolested nickel.

buy the coin not the slab...another example from PCGS. they may have graded this coin at that level but I would never pay this grade for this coin. the strike is just not there. they really love this kind of toning and most likely bumped it for that. I would never crack this one out of its holder.

I agree; I don't think it would come back with this grade if it were graded by a competent grader!
