I've got 70lbs in a wooden treasure chest of course. I made it for my silver hoard but its looks cooler with those in it than only 400 silver halves. I used a machine to sort mine.

Until a few weeks ago I had roughly 10,000. I finally got tired of all the space it was taking up and went through them to find everything that was AU or better and put them in tubes by dates. The rest I went and cashed in and bought a few upgrades for my nicer set.

I used to hoard. Now I keep what I like. And place that money into a better investments or into my collections.

Including both U.S. and Canadian copper cents, I'd estimate around 4500. An interesting note for you fellow copper hoarders, Canadian cents from 1979 and before have are a little larger than U.S. cents and thusly contain a little bit more copper. Just thought I'd share :)

I just finished rolling $45 worth of copper cents. They're going to my dump bank tomorrow.
In the past 6 months, I'm guessing I've rolled $300 worth of copper cents...
My father was a penny-pincher...:)
