RFB, if the date/mm is somehow readable, undoubtedly you will end up selling it for more than you paid for it someday. Like the 1909-S VDB and 1937-D "3 leg", it's one of those coins that will always and forever have a potential buyer somewhere!

NCLT 2011 lotus/year of the rabbit. WHAT was I thinking, the last lunar series rabbit tanked, and this one looks worse. Although I've got a few SMLs from when I started collecting that were total rip-offs. At least I didn't lose much - they're still worth melt.

Rodime,

I haven't received the rabbit yet but from the pictures on the web it looks alright. The tiger was stunning... so I was hoping for similar impact.

Mine is a John A MacDonald medallion (?) probably made of lead? I think it was from some Canadian set of prime ministers, made by who I don't know. I fear my scanner will break if I put this horror in it. It seems like it was washed with acid.

Psshhh....There's this one quarter in my collection,he's such a troublemaker. Every day I take him out and yell at him for 10 minutes straight, but he's such a brat he just likes the attention...Gotta get rid of him.

Libertad, they were likely made for Shell Canada, they are butt ugly.

I am aware of the irony.

Mine will be when they get around to making the Bill Clinton dollar coin.
We won't even mention what will come a few after his...

On a serious note - probably a bunch of acid dated Buffaloes. I was going trough them and found what is definitely a 1913 D Type II - but the only way to tell is if the light hits the date just right.

I would post a pic - but everyone has seen a typical hard-to-see, acid date Buffalo and the date would never show in the pics.

Yes, the earlier posts with photobucket. I can't see the pictures. Would love to, though!

An I.C.C.S. 1886, quarter, VG-8. I'm trying to upgrade it to a Mintstate example, however, it appears to be a difficult task?
