Keep one of each President, maybe two, then use the rest to get the gold.

I would say go with the classic gold. Not a fan of the modern bullion stuff.

I would go with the gold.

I would just have to ask myself a couple question.
Could I lose ... money or could I make money.
Or would I care because I want to own a couple of very cool coins.
Gold could go up .. some say maybe to $2000 ... then you made a very good deal.
Gold could go back sometime in the next few years .. to say $700 - $800. If so might lose a little on the buffalo, I would think the Saint Gaudens would hold its price.

For me I would fall back to .. couple of very nice coins that most collectors would love to have.

made the deal and got $50 more dollars off for buying both coins. thanks for all the input. Know the risk on the bullion coin is more than the st. gaudens, but no risk means no reward. I think if I were to have kept the pres. dollars and they did no go up in any value, I would have lost anyways due to inflation over time. I expect to keep these coins for many years up into retirement, If I don't need to sell them to live on, they will be handed down to my children;

Add your $2,600 in president dollars to the 850 million sitting in vaults - cash them in! They will never be worth much because they made so many. The gold will pay off more in the long run.

These coins are so expensive in Europe, for what they are worth, come over to the UK, sell them to dealers, you'll pay for your ticket over, and probably much more. I'd like to have these coins but there's no way I'm paying over the odd for them just because I live over here!

Go for the gold. If you want more Preidential dollars later, there is 850 million of them waiting for you.

I have a dilema. I have purchased, from my bank a total of $2,600.00 worth of Presidential dollars, starting with washington all the way up to the last issue of 2009. When these came out I thought they would be the next latest and greatest thing. I have subsequently bought them in PF70 and USmint packs. I recently heard that there is like 850 million dollars worth sitting in mint vaults because nobody wants them. Mine are all P mint mark. I have an oppurtunity to purchase a 1907 St. gaudens Gold PCGS ms69 and a 2006 ngc ms69 gold buffalo for that same amount. your opinion if I should keep these pres. dollars or go for the gold. Thanks all.

While personally I'd never give you a buck for any of those, I understand some banks might. I'd do that and buy those real coins.
