If silver's fallen this much in a day, I think that it can only keep on dropping till it reaches a plateau of some sort.

coolg- it depend on who much money you have. if you only have 11.25 you will only be able to buy 1. I would suggest for you if you are really liking about buying that you buy a American Silver Eagle they are 1 oz as well and most dealer sell them for 2-3 dollar over spot and I have spot closing at 11.09 so should be able to get on for under 14 dollars. I think you would be happer getting a ASE over a silver bar.

I could be wrong, but at this level I believe silver will go either up or down from here (sorry, I just couldn't resist that one)

think if you want to collect coins the best way for you to spend it would be either buy different years of ASE and buy more Half dollars for you collection. I don't think you will be happy if you buy rounds or bars. being you are new at collecting buy the coins you like and if you want silver buy ASE they go from 1986-2006. So I would see if you can get one from your birthyear and then start in 2006 and work your way back. but it your money so do what makes you happy

I might start shopping around again for 1 oz art bars. But it's going to depend on what sellers want for shipping. The drop in silver means nothing if they simply add their losses to shipping charges.
