That is a beauty! Wish it were mine. Even though it was expensive, it is in a PCGS holder - no worries. Congrats!

From all the bids it sure did look like it is a wanted coin. Really nice looking.

I actually haven't seen much of these with any color, they seem to almost be universally flat tan.

I have a decent example in my type set, but yours is decidedly nicer. EX PCGS AU-55. Are you going to leave it slabbed, or put it in a DANSCO?

Its definitely going in the dansco, I have no plans to ever upgrade it really if it looks anything like it does in the pictures. But we will see.

Johnny,

Yours is really nice for the grade, by the way. I see the light wear but it has ultra clean surfaces for an AU.

Graaaaaagh the date is half mangled by some planchet flaw damage, totally kills the eye appeal of an otherwise amazing coin that glistens and rainbows under the light.

HATE returning it but I have to.

Sorry shadow....bummer.

On another note, I've seen many impressive type coins of yours individually. Do you think you could post pictures of your Dansco 7070? I'd love to see them all together. Do you still have that Seated dime I sold you?

Yeah, but I do want to get a few more coins into it because I have a lot of holes which honestly should be filled....

I do still have it, I think.
