So cents before 1982 are the copper ones that should be saved?

Yep. If you want to weight all the '82'S you find, some of them are copper as well. The copper ones will weight at 3.11g and the zinc are 2.5g. John1 |

I have over $1700 face saved to date. Looking to make it to a ton ($3000 face) Had a little set back at Christmas time. My dad has been buying gold and silver and mentioned he would like to get some cooper but his eyes are to bad to see the dates so I wrapped up a $100 box and put under the tree for him.

I used to live next door to a man that transported pallets of penny cases, I once asked him how much $ was in a pallet and wouldn't tell me.
