Lol, what this guy doesn't realize is that someone could open it, put even WORSE coins in, and send it back and he'd be forced to refund by ebay. If someone angry gets scammed they're pretty likely to do that too.

Definitely not an original roll, as the end coins would have toning and not be blast white.

Wonder why my grandfather didn't have anything like that in all those coins he gave me? I would be in heaven no matter if they are newly searched or not, wouldn't make me no nevermind

what is interesting is that both the rolls that are mentioned in this thread is :-
1/ both rolls have a CC coin showing (nice and tempting) 2/ Both have the reverse showing at each end (why not an obverse? coincidence, or what?
One has a nice 7/8 TF

It said in the listing that in his opinion the CC is a 1878 by looking at the tail. How can he tell that? By looking at the number of tailfeathers?

8 tail feather Morgans where in error and the 7 over 8 was the fix later in 1878 they all went to the 7 tail feathers type ...so only 78 would have 8 over 3...8/4...8/4 and so on

The roll would be sitting in my safe, and I would have sleepless nights wondering what it contained. I would have to go and OPEN IT, it would be too tempting not to
