I would say cherrypick through them for VAM's...it can pay off handsomely. :P

The dealer here at home has been selling decent Morgans and Peace dollars for $15 ea, regardless of spot, for the last 3 years. Every time I'm in there I buy a couple. He has bags of Walkers @ 13 X face, he's usually too busy to go thru 'em, my buddy dug out a really nice 1917 D Walker.

jason, from what the other guys are telling me, yes. but I guess if they are in such poor condition, maybe they are not worth much over spot price of silver. but, in my personal opinion, if there are any ones that are vf+ I would think they would hold more value as well. but I am new to collecting and may not hold much insight as the others. i wish I could get them for $13. the guy I got em from charged me tax on top of $18/per as of right now the SPOT price on morgans $13.80 or so., plus you have a numismatic premium, usually. I would definitely go for it! silver is only going to go up, IMO. plus you can look for VAM's if the dealer hasnt already. my usually dealer collects morgans, so I know his junk ones wouldnt have any VAMS.

It's hard without looking at the actual coin, but I think your guess of F-12 is about right. Plus, I think $18.00 each is a tad too much for these.

SDcoinguy, I moved this thread to the proper forum and disappeared the other one you posted with the link. Hope you don't mind. The only thing which stands out is the 1899-O - I believe it to be a Micro O VAM-6, a Top 100 variety. http://www.vamworld.com/1899-O+VAM-6
