zeewool, thanks for the info, I'm gonna have to look for one, although according to my copy of Overton's book, an R3 has an estimated population of only 200-500. I'll look at the pop reports for PCGS and NGC....but this coin looks so cool that I'll be looking to add this to my collection.

If you will look back through all of the coins posted in this thread, you will no doubt see many that you will want to add to your collection. The folks who posted here have some pretty awesome coins. I am envious of many.

zeewool, I just found your O-106 (VG Details at Northeast Numismatics) but it has been sold. So close, yet so far; however, I would prefer one that hasn't been fooled with. I'll keep looking as that reverse die crack is really awesome. I've been around numismatics for longer than I care to think about and for some reason I've never seen this variety....thanks for sharing it.

paleoguy, looks wonderful. Hard to tell on a photograph, but I'm seeing some original mint luster peeking out between some of the raised devices. Very nice.

Great 1811s Moe. One of my top 25 or 30 favorite dates for CBH.

BTW, thanks for not brow beating me about the Scultzy thing. (I'm sure that you are more of the Col. Klink type).

Nice looking ladies. BTW: In 1811 James Madison was serving as our 4th President, our third President, Thomas Jefferson, and our second President, John Adams were both alive and well. You're holding a little piece of US History in your hands....

That is what it is all about SF, far more so to me than the coin itself.
