Here is TX its more like 95% D for newer coins, 90% D for stuff a few years old. Coins do travel, but slowly.

Here in Nevada I get almost exclusively D mint coins. Out of a roll of pennies, I might only get 5 Phillies.

I live in NC, and for the newest stuff (2008-2010) I get about 90 - 95% P, say 2000 or so - 2007 I probably get about 75% P, 25% D... Anything older than that is pretty much a 50/50 split.

How far west to get to the S's? I think they're hogging 'em :) Prolly one of those corn spear a sees.

On average, I probably go through about 5-7 boxes per week. Since August, I've managed to save/find almost $25 worth of S-mints so far. Heck, I've even managed to find 3 WAM's so far too. I'm still searching for the 1999 though. |

I've been getting a fair amount of Denver mint Jeffersons while roll searching, both old and new. In fact, most of my pre 80s have been D's.

I'm in the same boat as you. I also live in NJ and I see about the same ratio of Denver and Philadelphia coins.

in ohio it is more of a 75%P to 25%D. It also depends on your location. In cincinnati the chance of finding a D Presidential dollar is close to 1% but if you go 45 min northwest to Oxford that ratio is completely switched. In Oxford the chance of finding D pres. dollar is like 90%. It is odd. |

here in Iowa it is 50%D and 49%p and 1% s and I get excited when I find a s or a wheat but if I find a Indian a heart attack would happen.
