I experimented with getting things to line up front and back, waste of time.... I finally used Word and made a table 6 cols. wide 2 rows high, and flipped the text on one row so that when I folded it over text ended upright. After that it was simple. Just ype and print, cut and fold.

Now I have to organize 400+ large cents with varieties noted. I have a really cool idea for that, when I do a proto-type page I will post results, I've never seen anything like what I have in mind, so I'm not sure it will work. I love varieties and want to give them some clarity.

Those 1936 and older one cents are pretty cool! Maybe I'll eventually find one in my U.S. roll searching. Oldest I have found is 1942 I think.

Here are a couple quick scans of my Canada Cents:
What-Is-Your-Canadian-Penny-Collection-?
What-Is-Your-Canadian-Penny-Collection-?

I still have a few to put in the first page. Still in 2x2's until I decided on my final storage option.

Having seen nybirds system, that's what I now want, but I'll have to import it from Nth America, as they're not available in Australia.

Anyone know where I can get an identical album from and the approx cost involved?

Holy Moly! $31.42 for 2 Abums + 2 spare pages (reasonable prices) plus $121.45 for shipping to Australia!! That's Crazy! They must use Gold Plated packaging!

At that price I'll have to stick with my current storage, or come up with some other idea.

There are lots of other places that carry that product, even ebay I think has it. Basic price similar. I'm sure the shipping calculator must have goofed but I hear everything is bigger in Australia.

Weight is 2.45lbs, so using USPS Postal Calculator online, by First-Class Mail® International Package** postage should be no more than $21.08 to Oz.

There have been many times when I've gone to order items from Nth America, but the freight usually stops me in my tracks.

I've just recently imported a heap of 1½x1½'s from a US supplier, I'll check if I can get the albums from the same place.

Thanks for you help.

Nice collection Nancy.
About shipping, international mailings can be expensive ( I'd rather put my $120 into coins). But generally , at least from Canada, if you can keep it under 2kg and if your willing to wait 6-8 weeks then shipping should be in the $20 (thats $20Canadian)range.

Thanks North.

Checked ebay, 2 sellers, neither of which will post to OZ. The place I got my Mylars from doesn't have any Albums for Canadian coins.

There was a 3rd seller on ebay, and something about his listing put me off, can't remember what it was.

Wow. I REALLY like those album pages with the slot for labels too! Will put them on my "one day" list too.

Shipping and mailing costs can sure stop people in their tracks.

I'm wondering if just single pages can be bought inexpensively, forget buying the weighty covers, at least for starters, and just have the inserts for storing and organizing the coins. Be a lot cheaper to just have the pages mailed.
