Probably has a lot to do with the cent being withdrawn from circulation.

jbuck but they are being found in circulation still in america. I have found over 150 in penny boxes

jbuck I dont know why but I do find pennies to be the most interesting of all the denominations of coins, along with dimes. If I could maybe start a thread for american and Canadian dime/penny finds.........

We already have dedicated threads for each denomination, and one thread just for Canada.
We really should not need to create more, as they will only generate duplicate posts.
