I always check the coinstar when I pass one. I haven't found anythign yet but you certainly have anice grab thee. I don't hold onto any silver in particular but I like the nickels. I just picked up a roll.

I used to find change in the coinstar machine quite often until recently...Im wondering if the store is monitoring the machines and cleaning them out at intervals?

I have hopefully ended my coinstar career. Just opened a new bank account. While doing some business for the company I work for, I asked the teller if I could buy a box of nickels and a box of cents. She said sure and asked what I was doing with them. I told her the truth and that I returned lots of the coins to coinstar. She assured me that if I had an account with the bank, I could turn in as many coins as I wanted, they would even give me the bags to use. They send them off once a week, so it takes about 10 days to get back into my account, but, I'm no longer payint 9% for turning in cents to coinstar. (Other than cents, I have been rolling and depositing). I hope to never roll another one either.

Very interesting jprine...
That's good to hear! The rolling process can take so long. Some of the larger denominations I end up spending to get rid of some of it.

Nice score ! For these who said didn't find any yet just keep looking and you ll ! I found a Singapore coin a Eire coin with a fish on it and once found 2 colombians 1 Paraguay and a argentinan all together but never found any silver though ! The best bets are at the banks coin counters because at coin star I only found the Singapore one ! I always look when I have chance !
