Come back to the 90s with us and use a computer.
Just don't fall into any fountains at the mall staring at your phone.

Coppercoins,
I was a Chrome/Linux user up in the States. Windoze/Chrome down here.
I'm feeling good today. I think I got the only new, uncirculated Quetzal coin in town today, buying my tortillas! Guatemala doesn't make a lot of coins any more. And you never see new stuff way out in the boonies...

I really need to figure out how to drive more traffic to lincolncent.com. The stats for that site are abysmal.
JMerrick - I've noticed that the stats have gone up tremendously for Chrome over the past couple of months...kind of like their flagship website, which ranks #1 with compete.com. Facebook is 2nd.

Something exciting Chuck?
Look at 1951-D FS-01-1951D-521
I know, you'll have to pick up someone else's book.
But I'm very serious. This variety has languished in the Cherrypicker's Guide for a Decade- and is still considered to be unique- as in ONLY ONE EXAMPLE IN EXISTENCE.
Over the course of the coming year, I will be exposing this coin as the die chip it is, and has long assumed to be by die variety specialists. De-Bunking if you please.
I know this might appear to be quite a claim. Please hear me out.
I have worked hard and dug deep to locate 2 examples of coins struck from the same die. Yeah, no longer unique, but don't tell the PCGS registry buyers. SSSHHHHHH!
The first of the two examples is a later state than that shown in the Cherrypicker's guide. It shows not only the outline of a D, but the full bodied, rounded relief that leaves one with only one thought- "it is a D!"
After a fair amount of my own cynicism and criticism, I can now see why the authors considered this coin for inclusion in their reference.
The second example I have is without a doubt, from the from the same die. I haven't been home long enough to locate die markers or even compare the two since locating and having the 2 coins at the same time. But I will be spending a great amount of study on the 2 coins.
Now this second example, while clearly from the same die, is the smoking gun.
This piece shows an a partially formed die chip. In EXACTLY the same orientation. In this early stage you can clearly see the area that forms what looks like the northern serif of the errant D. BUT, this coin is missing the filled area in the northeastern region of the crook of the five. The absence of the full D shape, along with the incontrovertible existence of what can only be seen as a die chip, conclusively prove that this variety does not have a D in the 5.
Why would I disprove a variety that could quite literally put thousands of dollars in my own pockets?
I guess each reader will have to figure that out for themselves. Mark my words, you all will hear about this.
If that's not exciting news Chuck, then it's clear that the two of us live in very different worlds. This excites me!

Not to burst your bubble, but I have always been of the opinion that this was nothing and should be delisted. If you can prove so, that would be really nice!

I'm on the same page with you sir- I've long held the same opinion.
In time, I will be bringing to light the coins which will show exactly that.
No bubbles here.
Why not right now one might ask? Because I have a clear goal and objective, a confident direction in what I am doing.

Well, be certain that this and other listed items in the CherryPickers' Guide would not gain any premium interest from me because I disagree with the listings. But then again, you're also conversing with someone who wouldn't pay over 1922D cent value for ANY 1922D cent, no matter how much the mintmark is missing.
