Hopefully not because of little ol' me......but my bank has begun to do "both". They now have employees who started rolling them, so that they don't have to order any more. They never used to do that, that I was aware of.
My bank has four branches......three here in town, so I've spread them out amongst the three for quite some time.
I do start to feel as though I'm straining them......

In my town, it's Home Federal that's getting run-ragged. Only one's with a counter. Everyone else wont take 'em loose anymore, so Ma goes outta town.

It is certainly better for the other roll searchers in your area that your dump goes back to the fed.:)

This might sound like an odd perspective, but local reuse is the more environmentally-friendly option. Coins are heavy, think of all the gas that's wasted driving them around the country.

Back to the Fed with them!! LOL

The city I live in is so big, I do not think it really matters as long as I use dump banks far away from my regular bank.

Must be nice. Here in California, I have not seen a bank yet that has that service. I have to roll my own :-(

I agree willy. Nothing worse than wasting your time roll searching when someone else searched them.

I've had really good luck with customer wrapped rolls. Then again, I've only gotten them once and they were all in old wrappers, some of which were marked by year.
