I'm one of the few in NH. I haven't been to the monthly show in a long time. Won't make it this month either since I will be working.

It sounds like you "NH coin thing" is a company setting up at a hotel to buy gold and silver from the unknowledgeable public.

Thanks ziggy, not sure how I missed that. May go to Nashua show, I'm not looking for anything right now, but may go just to look (not the dealers' favorite!). I went last month, found it really crowded, tough moving around, which I guess is good for you. I went to Bob's Coin & Jewelry in Chelmsford today, first visit; he sets up at both Nashua & Westford. I felt bad for him, seems like people that came in while I was there were only selling, no buying. But, he's been there 38 years, so maybe that's just due to current PM circumstances.

Have all you Great North Woods folks been over to the Saint Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, NH? We went last year as a day trip from here in Lowell, was a worthwhile drive; definitely a talented guy you had living up there!

I went to see a movie about Agustus St Gaudens presented by NH Public Television, Q. David Bowers, & David Sundman of Littleton Coin Co. It was shown at a local museum in Wolfeboro, NH back in 2008.
I have been to Cornish, but never visited the site yet

Worth the trip: lots of his sculptures & really big monument-type works, in addition to coins and samples of his early models and plaster dies, stuff like that. And, of course, a gift shop! Don't go July or August, really hot and a lot of open area to traverse.
